🆕 Notifications

• App-wide notifications are now available for users, showing both as live pop-ups, via the notification bell menu to the right of the navigation bar.
• Initial notifications are “clip generation complete” and “AI agent export complete”, with plans to significantly expand this list in the near future.

🆕 Permissions

• An in-depth permission system has now been integrated into the app. Depending on your account’s configuration you may now find certain features are no longer presented to you or are shown as disabled.
• Permissions for organisation members can be controlled by those with “Administrator” or “Owner” status via the Organisation area.

🆕 Multi-Tab Sessions

• User authentication has been overhauled to now use “session tokens” which will persist between multiple tabs in the same browser session.
• Update to various buttons and links throughout the app to allow “Open in New Tab/Window” browser behaviour where possible.

General

• Data Table Improvements
  • Sorting by “Created By” will now always put the currently logged in user first.
  • Date columns are now sortable.
• Multi Factor Authentication is now available for all users. This can be configured via the profile page, via the top-right avatar menu.
• Improvements to device live status throughout the app - changes will now reflect to users in real time.
  Improved styling in top level “overview” pages.
• Small styling improvement to top-level navigation bar.

LabOps

• Updated contrast and homogeneity values to display as percentages.
• The "stale data" alert on AI Agents now only appears when video is live.
• Improved UX when adding AI Agents while viewing archived footage, clarifying that agents only work on live footage.
• The protocol tracker strike-out animation is now limited to the width of each line of text.
• The clip maker now always centres the initial clip span on load.

Visual Lab

• The project author is now listed and sortable in the project list, replacing the “last updated” column.
• Projects without live experiments can now be archived via the top-right cog menu on the project page.
• When starting a new experiment with a new protocol, the protocol will now automatically publish itself, eliminating the need for additional user interaction.
• Improved user experience when editing organisation members assigned to a project or experiment.
• When selecting protocols, all protocols are now displayed at once for easier review.
